Working with major publishers and other industry stakeholders, we are committed to making information and knowledge more accessible to everyone, including individuals in remote or underserved areas. Through collaboration with our content providers, we support SDG 4 (Quality Education) through disseminating research and SDG 10 (reduced inequalities) by bridging the digital divide and ensuring equitable access via our global platform. Research is the cornerstone of progress, and we believe that we can create a more equitable future.

The role:

We are now looking for a Brand Ambassador, based out of China, to represent Zendy’s brand and help us increase brand awareness. Working closely with marketing and partnerships teams, some of your responsibilities would include:

  • Represent Zendy’s vision, mission, goals and products and services at industry events in China
  • Develop connections and relationships with students, professionals, institutions, libraries and other relevant organisations and companies to generate new B2B and B2C business leads
  • Establish new relationships with China-based publishers and other providers to generate new content partnerships for Zendy
  • Assist the marketing department with creating a China presence for Zendy and promote Zendy via social media
  • Help and advice on Wechat and Weibo company account creation
  • Help with regular translation and promotion of posts to drive awareness of Zendy and attract new subscribers and partners
  • Share ideas with the marketing team about new ways to promote Zendy in China
  • Advertise and promote Zendy’s mission and products, post videos and reviews about Zendy/invite friends to events via social networking sites

You are:

A knowledge enthusiast who is a natural communicator and able to engage with people through different channels. You are a passionate storyteller with a genuine interest in research and education.

Role Requirements:

  • You naturally enjoy connecting and speaking to people
  • You are able to do some travel within China to attend industry events
  • You have good knowledge and understanding of the academic publishing sector in China
  • You speak good English and native Mandarin
